The same six levels as Zigzaggle Studio. Ages are a starting point: our maze difficulty by age guide says when to move up.
| Level | Ages | What it looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Very easy | ages 3 to 4 | Very wide paths and only a few turns make it a gentle first maze for little hands. |
| Easy | ages 4 to 6 | Wide paths and a handful of short dead ends: a good first maze for preschool and kindergarten. |
| Gentle | ages 5 to 7 | A few more turns and dead ends than an easy maze, with paths that are still roomy. |
| Medium | ages 6 to 8 | Longer paths and more dead ends make it a real puzzle for early elementary kids. |
| Hard | ages 8 to 12 | A dense maze with long, winding paths for confident solvers ages 8 to 12. |
| Extreme | teens and adults | A very detailed maze with narrow, twisting paths, made for teens and adults who like a real challenge. |

How these mazes are made
Every maze here is drawn by Zigzaggle Studio, the maze maker we build. It grows a real maze inside the picture, solves it, and checks every page before it is published: paths at least 2.5 mm wide and walls at least 0.8 pt thick, so nothing vanishes on a home printer, and headings large enough to read.
Printing tips
- Print at 100% on US Letter, or choose "Fit to page" for A4.
- Use the black and white PDF for school copiers and to save ink.
- Laminate a page or slip it into a sheet protector for dry-erase mazes.
- For little ones, start with a very easy maze and trace it with a finger first.
