How to make a printable maze
- Pick a shape. A rectangle gives the classic maze; a heart, an animal or a rocket makes a picture maze.
- Pick the level. Very easy suits ages 3 to 4; extreme is for teens and adults. Not sure? Read maze difficulty by age.
- Add a title, and keep the Name and date lines for worksheets.
- Press New maze until you like it, then Download PDF: page 1 is the maze, page 2 the answer key.

Does every maze have a solution?
Yes. Each maze is one connected path network with exactly one route between START and FINISH, and the PDF includes that route on its answer page.
Can I sell mazes made with the free generator?
The free generator is for personal and classroom use. For mazes you can sell, with themed looks, many maze types and whole KDP books, use Zigzaggle Studio.
What size is the PDF?
US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches), two pages: the maze, then its answer key. It prints on A4 with "Fit to page".
