Easy Mazes for Kids (Free Printables)

First mazes should feel like a win. These pages have wide, short paths inside simple shapes kids know: a heart, a star, a moon, a chick, a goldfish, a mushroom, a house and a butterfly.

The first three are our easiest level, made for ages 3 to 4 and a chunky crayon. The rest step up a little for ages 4 to 6. Answer keys are on page 2.

Questions

What age can start mazes?

Many children can follow a simple, wide maze with a finger or a crayon from about age 3. Start with the heart, the star and the moon.

Why are the paths so wide?

Wide paths let little hands stay inside the lines with a crayon, which keeps the first mazes fun instead of frustrating.

What comes after these?

Try the easy pages in the Halloween, animal or dinosaur collections, then the medium ones.
